ATILEM® Training
ATILEM® Training is organized as a structured, multi-level pathway designed to support the thoughtful development of professionals working within complex psychological and relational environments.
The training integrates multiple evidence-based psychological approaches through a trauma-informed, relational, and systems-oriented lens. Participants progress through levels that emphasize conceptual depth, clinical integration, and increasing responsibility within the framework.
Participation in ATILEM® Training is application-based. Admission at each level is determined through a review of professional background, training goals, and alignment with the ethical and conceptual foundations of the ATILEM® framework.
Participation is intentionally limited to maintain the depth, integrity, and ethical application of the framework. The program prioritizes thoughtful professional development, careful supervision, and fidelity to the clinical principles that guide the ATILEM® model.
This introductory level is designed for coaches, educators, and allied professionals who wish to understand the conceptual foundations and psychological language of the ATILEM® framework.
Participants are introduced to principles related to emotional regulation, relational systems, trauma-informed thinking, and the broader ecological contexts that shape human behavior.
Training at this level emphasizes ethical scope of practice, including clear distinctions between coaching, consultation, and psychotherapy in accordance with professional ethical standards.
Admission to this level is application-based to ensure that participants understand and agree to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Completion of Level 1 does not authorize participants to provide psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or represent themselves as ATILEM® clinicians.
Level 1 – ATILEM®-Aware Provider
This level is designed for licensed mental health professionals seeking to integrate ATILEM® principles into clinical practice.
Training focuses on case formulation, relational dynamics, trauma-informed intervention, and the integration of evidence-based approaches within the ATILEM® framework. Participants engage in structured training modules, case consultation, and supervised learning designed to support thoughtful clinical integration.
Advancement to Level 3 requires demonstration of clinical integration through supervised practice and case consultation, typically including approximately 20–30 hours of ATILEM® supervision or consultation.
Admission to this level requires application and verification of professional licensure.
Level 2 – ATILEM®-Informed Clinician
This advanced level is for clinicians who demonstrate a high degree of competence in applying the ATILEM® framework within complex clinical environments.
Certification involves advanced training, case presentation, and evaluation of clinical integration, with particular emphasis on the clinician’s capacity to navigate layered relational systems, trauma histories, and the psychological demands associated with high-performance contexts.
Candidates seeking this designation typically complete an additional 40–50 hours of advanced supervision, consultation, and case review prior to certification.
Admission to this level is selective and based on demonstrated competence within the framework.
Level 3 – ATILEM® Certified Specialist
Legacy Supervisor status is reserved for clinicians who demonstrate advanced mastery of the framework and the capacity to steward the model within training and supervision contexts.
This level is invitation-based and recognizes clinicians who are qualified to provide consultation, supervision, and training within the ATILEM® model while maintaining fidelity to its conceptual and ethical foundations.
Eligibility typically includes extensive clinical experience within the ATILEM® framework and 80+ hours of advanced consultation, supervision, and teaching participation within the training community.
